With the new 5C being composed of a polycarbonate body as opposed to the metal and glass of the iPhone 5 and 5S, do you think that it would be better suited to the Otterbox crowd? Is it going to be more drop safe? A little more shock absorbing?

I always worry about having my phone slipping out of my lap when getting out of the car as metal and glass is super solid, but a little volatile.

I would think the polycarbonate would be less likely to break as it "gives" better than metal and glass. Either way, a good case is never a bad investment. I've launched a phone down a flight of stairs with nary a scratch yet the kid dropped it 3 feet and shattered the screen. There's always that fluke chance that it will land just right for maximum damage.
