I have iphone 3G with Version 4.2.1 & Modem Firmware 05.15.04

I'm new and really don't know What is Redsn0w, PwnageTool & Jailbreak ? & how to use them ?

I just search on google and found some this name to unlock but I read some articles but really confusing.

any one can help me with easiest way to unlock my phone. I will appreciate your help. thank you.

Unlocking your iPhone is different from jailbreaking it. Perhaps you're looking into jailbreaking your phone?

To unlock your phone, you need to jailbreak it with Redsn0w, which is quite easy. There is tons of guides on how to do it.

To unlock your phone, you need to install the Ipads baseband on the phone, which is done with Redsnow as well.

The easiest way to unlock your phone, without jailbreaking it is to use a Gevey Sim Unlock card. Those can be bought from Ebay.
