Is it necessary to have Photo Stream turned on in iCloud if I don't have other Apple products with which to sync photos? My wife does with her iPad but I don't take that many pictures. Just curious because I'm not sure if Photo Stream is using a lot of memory. Also, if I did want to "send" pictures back and forth, to and from, my Windows based PC would that process still work when I connect my USB cords if I had Photo Stream turned off or does Photo Stream have to be turned on in iCloud? Photo Stream iCloud's role is the one part I'm having trouble understanding. Thanks for any help.
