Last year when the iPhone 5 was released, few folks reported that the chassis of the device were beginning to bend. According to most reports, this was due to people keeping the iPhone in a back pocket then accidentally sitting on it. While it's never a good idea to keep any electronic device in the pocket you will be sitting on, the design of the iPhone 5 and the almost identical 5S has a become a bit of a problem for some.

French blog Nowwhereelse.fr has posted photos from multiple reports of the iPhone 5S bending. With the iPhone 5, the majority of devices bent at the volume buttons, which of course was a problem. The iPhone 5S seems to have a new bending point at the middle of the device. We encourage our readers to be careful with their precious devices and keep them in a safe place (not a back pocket) when not in use.
