Not receiving email on iphone 4s

My iphone 4s suddenly stopped sending emails. It shows as if it has been sent but it's not recieved. I tried deleting the account and setting up the account again. It seems to receive emails but unable to send. Please can anyone help.

Welcome to the forum. Is this behavior of your mails going on under wifi connection or 3G or both? Have you tried hard resetting the phone?
