No Ringtone Tab In iTunes

Is this common knowledge?

I have no Ringtone Tab in iTunes version 10.

I see screen images where there is a ringtone tab between Info and Music but I don't have that tab.

Anybody care to offer assistance?

The "Tones" section does not show in iTunes unless you actually drag an drop a 30 second .m4r file into the Music Library.

If you never adds any ringtones to iTunes then there will be not "Tones" section.

Thanks Zig. I got the Tones tab with the new m4r file in it, I watched as iTunes copied the file to the phone but I can't see the filename to select it in the Settings/Sounds/Ringtone section.

Reboot your phone and look again.

Found a solution. I just used iPhone Browser. Worked like a charm.
