New verizon 4s suddenly stopped working

Recd my fully charged phone turned on and it started working for several hours It held a charge well but after Several hours it. Suddenly stopped working, and I couldn' t turn it on or Charge it. Did I miss something in activation?

Perform a hard reset and it should work fine.
