Hi. To quickly introduce myself: I'm new to this site, not new to smart phones, new to trying to repair them. Forte is building gaming PCs, with years of experience, as a money making hobby. So feel free to throw tech at me -- lay terms still appreciated.
Issue: iPhone 5s. Without any known cause, screen became unresponsive to touch.
* Tried resetting -- holding down top and home button. Nothing.
*Tried Voice -- clicked home three times. Mode is set to selecting language. Don't know what to say or isn't functioning either.
*Tried replacing screen -- bought a quality replacement screen. Simple, but meticulous install with no problem. Still unresponsive.
At this point, I have decided to join this forum in the hope that I will find the guidance on proceeding with troubleshooting. To this site's developers, I thank you for having me. And I thank, in advance, anyone replying with advice.
