New to iPhone 4 please help!!!

Hello all... I'm new to this forum..

So I've had an iPhone 3GS for years and finally getting into an iPhone 4 ... Ok so here's the thing I'm working out a deal on purchasing an iPhone 4 from some guy he says he's been using the iPhone 4 on Airvoice Wireless prepaid but its weird because he's on version 4.1 and modem firmware is 02.10.04 BUT he is not running a Gevey SIM.. does that mean the iPhone is GSM factory unlocked???

It is jailbroken by the way but no gevey and unable to software unlock due to firmware it has to be factory unlocked right???

Please help I'm a little confused

If the phone is on Verizon then it's CDMA which doesnt use a sim.


Edit: sorry, I have no idea where I got verizon from.

No its not Verizon its an AT&T iPhone 4..... U think it might be unlocked like from the factory??
