New mock iPhones show how thin iPhone 17 Air is

These new mockups from Majin Bu on X compare the iPhone 17 Air to the iPhone 17 Pro. I'm shocked by how thin it looks. Also, the camera "bar" is growing on me, mostly for the Pro model. The camera already takes up over half the space anyway, and it should get rid of the wobble when your iPhone is flat on the table.

I agree. I would think, with Apple's own silicon and their new modem tech, they could make a hyper-efficient iPhone that lasts just as long with less battery. Of course, that remains to be seen.

I remember a while age when there were a lot of cases of iPhones bending under very little pressure, so I’m pretty concerned whether the even thinner 17 is going to suffer from a similar problem.

The earlier thin iPhones that had the bending problem had a chassis made of aluminum. A thinner iPhone with a titanium chassis would be much harder to bend.

I'm not crazy about all these manufacturers obsession with getting so thin. With today's tech we can still have some good battery so let's see what comes of it.

Hmm I don’t know about this new iPhone I just upgraded to a 16e just the other day. I think the 16e is the perfect iPhone so far. I have no idea how they can get any better and we don’t need all those cameras.
