If I delete a message and the person sends me a text, their name shows in the popup notification at the top of my screen but just their phone number shows in Messages. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max that is up to date. I’ve done the turn off sync for contacts and turning it back on and that does work as a temporary fix, but then the problem comes right back the next time I delete someone’s texts who are in my contacts. In the Accounts list I do have my Gmail account and an iCloud account. Could that be causing the issue maybe?
