Hello everyone,

our App TrackYourDose is now available in the App Store! We have designed this application with a very user-friendly interface to keep easily track of your personal exposure to radiation - share your flight doses with your friends!

Short description
  • Going on holidays? Or regularly on the plane?
  • We are exposed to different types of radiation in our daily lives - e.g. terrestrial and cosmic radiation, during flights and medical examinations.
  • This app tracks your effective dose of flights, medical examinations and of your locations.
  • Use this app as your personal x-ray and radiation log.
We have attached great importance on scientific accuracy of the calculations in our App, but kept the interface simple and user-friendly. For calculating the radiation exposure during flights we use a validated method developed by the PTB (national institute for natural and engineering sciences and the highest technical authority for metrology and physical safety engineering in Germany) and daily updated measurements of the suns activity from the university in Oulu (Finland).
