Need Help

I need to unjailbreak my iPhone 4 running on ios 4.2.1. It's a work phone and I have to turn it in because we are switching to Verizon. When I try to restore it, I keep getting an error message that says "this device isnt eligible for requested build." What am I doing wrong??? I did the same thing on my iPad and had no problems. Someone please help.

At worst you can download the iOS, put your phone into recovery mode, shift click the restore button on your iTunes and select the downloaded iOS.
