My friends screen

Hello, today my friends screen on his 3gs broke, we need to format it, because he is selling it as faulty.
I was just wondering i there was a way i could view his screen on the laptop?

Everything else works like speakers because you can hear locks sounds, so phone is still working

Connect it to iTunes and restore.

Tried it already, i just want to know if i can see his screen on my computer?

I don't know about "viewing his screen" but u could certainly manage files via ssh. Of course this would have to have been already nstalled... I guess that's what's u mean

I know there is a way to do this, I just don't know how. Go to YouTube and type in: "How to mirror you iDevice onto a computer scree".

Tho I don't think that will work, but ya never know. Post back, let us know if it worked.
