After two months of public beta testing, Microsoft has finally released its Edge browser for iPhone, writes MacRumors. One of the most useful elements of the new browser for PC users is the “Continue on PC” feature, which enables the user to push a website from the mobile to the desktop versions of Edge.

Other features of Microsoft Edge for iPhone include being able to sync your favourites, passwords, and reading lists on both Windows PC and iPhone. Also included are an all-in-one Hub View, a built-in QR code reader, voice search, and private browsing.

You’ll also have the option to select Bing, Google, or Yahoo as your default Edge search engine. However, two aspects of the Windows PC version of the Edge browser that you won’t get on the iPhone version are the Cortana assistant and also, built-in ad-blocking.

As yet there is no iPad support for Edge, but Microsoft says that will be coming very soon.

Edge is currently only available in the US, China, France, and the UK, but more regions and languages will be added to that soon.
