Microphone for iPhone

Does anyone make something like this but with an area mic instead? I want to record my whole band, not just the singer! This doesn't seem like it would be of much use to a musician as a vocal mic.

This is a condenser mic, not a dynamic. So it is quite sensitive and has a lot of range.

See this video of recording from a distance:

You're serious? That sounds terrible! It's all mids and really poor quality. If there were a real drummer and bassist there with the guitar player, it would sound like a jumbled mess. And since you say it is a condenser mic, it wouldn't even be worth using for vocals. This mic IS NOT intended to record live music, and you shouldn't try to pass it off like it is.

The iRig Mic is a very good quality for vocals and acoustic instruments.
Here is a video from Techfast of a song done entirely with iRig Mic in VocaLive.
