Lost my iPhone camera app

Hello, I haven’t visited this forum in quite a while but I sure need some help now. Don’t know what my ‘fat-finger’ syndrome must have done, but the icon for my Apple Camera has disappeared from my home page. I stumbled onto it on another page labelled ‘app library’ but now i don’t remember how i found this library page and haven’t been able to find it again.

I’m sure someone brighter than I can tell me how to restore the icon for the camera to the home page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Go to Settings - Screen Time - Content & Privacy Restrictions - Allowed Apps. Make sure Camera is enabled.

If it’s enabled, take a look at all of your homescreens and folders on these homescreens. If could be hidden somewhere in a folder.

To get back to the App Library, go to the homescreen and swipe to the left, until you can’t continue. It’s possible to get the app icon from the App Library back to your homescreen. Just tap it and drag it out of the library to the next homescreen.
