Lost music

I have bought music from iTunes and after awhile it just isn't there. It show I gave it but won't play it. I have contacted iTunes and I really get no help. Can this be fixed. Also let me mention I have also imported CDs and they remain and also play. This is only happening with the iTunes songs. I hate spending money for nothin. Thank you for what ever help I can get

did you authorize the computer you use to sync with. usually if you it won't allow purchased itunes music to show up
