I forgot the password to my photo album is there anyway of getting around that?

You will need to restore you phone. Don't choose restore from back up.

You will loose all settings (like passcodes) and texts. Everything that is in your iTunes (you pictures, music, apps etc.) will re sync after you restore as new phone.
