John Oliver Discusses the FBI vs Apple Encryption Debate [PG-13 Language]

Pre-warning, the above video has PG-13 language, so if that offends you, you might want to skip it. The HBO series Last Week Tonight wth John Oliver recently tackled the FBI vs Apple encryption issue dominating the headlines right now.

Oliver does a good job of explaining many of the complications surrounding this issue, and of course, his satirical humor makes it a funny lesson as well. Check out the video and let us know what you think of Oliver's perspective.

I think he does a good job of explaining things so that even the FBI should be able to understand that the consequences of helping the FBI in this case are much worse than not helping.

Oliver and his staff did a great job at researching the facts. He mentioned the Clipper Chip, which no one else even knows what it was and why it failed.
