jailbroken question ?

hi,i jailbroke my iphone 4 with the comex release but should i have updated my firmware to 4.0.1 before i did it or does it not really matter ??? my iphone is at 4.0 at the moment and i have no problems with the jailbreak but it keeps coming up to update to 4.0.1 when im on itunes.

4.0.1 is safe but it doesnt really matter. I have 4.0 as well. Just make sure you save your shsh blobs with cydia. (probably already did) However 4.1 is going to be big but isnt safe until we are given the okay.

4.0.1 can successfully be jailbroken. I just did it and was successful on the first try. Took all of 4-5 minutes.
