Jailbreak without power button

I want to restore my iphones iOS software but just realized I cant get into DFU mode without using a power button and mine is broken. How can I do this?

The iphone is 3g, I have the ips and was planning to restore with redsn0w on a windows 8 computer.

You'll have to create a DFU IPSW using RedSn0w. Download RedSn0w for Windows below.

Go to Extras > Even More > DFU IPSW and point it to the IPSW that you want to upgrade to. Then go to iTunes, and shift+click that IPSW.
