Jailbreak identification & unlocking

Ow to know if my phone is on jailbreak or not?! What is unlocking the phone do?

U can get a lot of 3rd party apps. Apps that iTunes don't have. Also u can change the theme of the phone such as fonts colors. U can completely change the whole homepage.

How to know if its unlocked or jailbroke?!

If your phone is jail broken, you can generally tell by the presence of the Cydia icon (it's a brown one usually, with a box).

I couldn't tell you how you know if the phone is unlocked (that's different from jail breaking). Sorry.
