Itunes won't let me update to firmware 4.3.3 need help!

Hey Everyone,

I'm currently on 4.3.1 and want to update to 4.3.3 but iTunes won't let me update. I keep getting an error message stating that I can't connect to itunes server. I'm using a mac and currently jailbroken too. I do have saved ssh using tu. Please help I want to keep my current bb but be up to date.

In your mac computer, Go to
1-) etc> directory and locate hosts file.
2-) Copy it on your desktop

3-) Open the hosts file in TextEdit.

4-) Add the following lines to the very bottom of the hosts file:
74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com

5-) remove any other line that contains gs.apple.com

6-) save the files and copy it back to it original location.

7-) Restart your computer and try to restore again.

If iTunes prompt with the save error, then restart the steps 1,2,3, and at step 4-) remove the line which says 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com then follow steps 5,6,7 again.

You have tried on a new computer which you've never connected your phone to and it doesn't work? At least that new computer itunes should be able to download the ipsw before stating any kind of error.

I have the right firmware and it still isn't working and I'm a geek that has tried all options but I'm stumped
