Is there a way to add proxy to iphone's browsing?

In order to be able to access my university's digital resources I'm required to add a proxy automatic configuration script file (a pac file).
Is there an iphone browser which provides proxy capabilities?
Is the an application which can add this capability to the iphone's configuration?
Is there any other solution?
