Look for Lite versions first, many apps have a striped down version for free, that way if you don't like it, just delete it. Also read the reviews before you buy.

When you purchased it, it hit your credit card (or as most would write: it hit you credit card), and that can't get reversed. Sorry. However, the cost for "most" apps is usually quite low. No worries.

Actually, I have bought an app for $90, though I have read the reviews about it, but I am not pleased at all with it. We are here talking about the Tomtom app. I am really frustrated with it, when you choose browse map, the main roads in red are not named, you have to tap on the road to know the name. How can something so important be so lacking. I have gone through the settings, I can't see anything to remedy that. May be I am doing something wrong and someone could point me in the right direction.
