Hi, My sister has sent me from the US a brand new iphone4 that supplied by AT&T. I need to be able to use it on my Vodafone account in the UK. I have already received the relevant micro sim from Vodafone. I DO NOT have the original AT&T micro sim.
When I turn on the iphone4 I get the "emergency call only" message on screen and on itunes the message "the sim card in this phone does not appear to be supported".
I have updated to the latest software in itunes using the system recovery.
Now I have trawled through so manys ites and discussion groups to see how I can get the phone activated so I can then jailbreak so I can use Vodafone as my carrier but there are sooooooooo many scams on the go. Can anybody please point me in the right direction?
