Hi there! I just upgraded to xs max from ip7+ not too long ago. I found the sound from xsmax a little too much treble for my taste. Yes it does somehow boosted in clarity. But i think i still prefer the SQ from my ip7+ (smoother sound and more convenience to listen). What do you think guys?

    Have a nice day! :)

I don't actually have an iPhone Xs, but on my lowly iPhone 6s and iOS 12.1, if you goto Settings > Music > EQ, you can set the Equalizer to a range of different values, such as "Hip-Hop", "Jazz" and "Rock". I assume this will be the same on later iPhones, and will obviously change the sound quality of the speakers....just a question of experimenting until you find the best setting for you.
