I have an iPhone 3g jailbroken to 4.2.1 with redsn0w..Ive noticed that it is real slow when loading apps im trying to downgrade it to 3.1.3 since ive read that the 4.2.1 update is what makes the phone slow and lag so much....how can i downgrade to 3.1.3? the phone its currently 4.2.1 with 06.15.00 baseband

Instead of downgrading why don't your speed it up by:

Removing Launch Daemons
Install Speed Intensifier or FakeClockUp

Install Virtual Memory Mod.

Those help with older devices.

And the virtual memory mod is perfectly safe to install on older devices with less RAM. Not recommended for newer devices.

I would go with fakeclockup.
