iPhone 6 won't go on

it stuck on apple logo. I tried upadating it and it took forever and then the download just stopped. I even tried recboot which is suppose to take it out of recovery and that didn't work. Any other options before hitting restore and loosing ever??

Did you hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appeared, then let go? That’s a forced restart. If not, try it again.

Yes, several times.

1. Connect your device to a computer and open iTunes. ...
2. While your device is connected, force it to restart. ...
3. Don't release the buttons when you see the Apple logo. ...
4. When you get the option to restore or update, choose Update.
