iPhone 6 and in car bluetooth slow

My iPhone 6 is very slow to connect to my in car bluetooth, to the point people hangup thinking there isn't anyone there. Answers incoming call as it should (fast). I have a Lexus RX 400H if that helps, worked fine before now too slow.

I have a Lexus RX350. Mine was perfect then it started to drag. I deleted the phone from my car and re-paired it. Works fine now.
