iphone 5 unlock : newbie question

Hi Guys,
I've got my fist Iphone. I have been doing some reading on the forum in regards to unlocking and i know that i need to JB the phone first and then it can be unlocked. But i am still a bit confused about which iphone 5 can be unlocked and which cannot. So looking at the details below, Can anyone please advise if it can be unlocked to be used on another carrier?

OS Version : 6.0.1 (10A525)
Carrier: Three 13.0
Model: MD297B
Firmware: 1.01.00

With the iPhone 5... the Jailbreak then unlock methods do not work. Your option are... unlock from the iPhone's original wireless provider or purchasing an IEMI unlock from somewhere on the Internet. Nether of those two options require Jailbreaking.
