We have a Bose sound deck which we use a lot.

How well will the new iPhone work with this and other sound decks?

We have already had to ditch a sound deck we used with our iPod

From what I saw during Apple's Media Event earlier today... there will be a docking adapter available as an accessory. It will adapt the standard 30pin connector used now to the new Lightening connector being used for the iP5.

Eager to hear how this works.

One more thing to carry and lose.

Wonder how much they will cost?

Think I'll pass on the iPhone 5.

No major break-throughs and additional cost to port all my peripherals to the new phone.
