iPhone 4s does not show folders in iTunes after jailbreak. How do I fix this?

After I jailbroke my iPhone 4s and went to iTunes, iTunes did not show the folders that I created (and are still on my iPhone). In addition, the icon for the phone has changed to a white square. any suggestions?

Just reinstall something from Cydia that requires a respring. That will fix the white icon. And so does Springtomize 2's "Reload Settings" option.

The folders thing....does it really matter that iTunes doesn't show the folders?
