iPhone 4 won't power up or register being plugged in! :(

Hi all, I'm new to the site so first a bi HI! to you all

Next is a HUGE request for help. My iPhone 4 suddenly today refused to switch on (well not sure it was even off as I tried ringing it from my landline and it rang fully the landline end but nothing at all iPhone end!) I have no screen, no sounds, no vibration & no registering of being plugged in to either the mains or laptop - basically appears to have died completely despite using it fine all morning!

I don't mind as such as I am due my upgrade in 2 weeks (typical!) but I haven't been able to transfer my photos from iPhone to laptop for a good while and now I am really worried I cannot get them (or contacts or anything else) at all and this is extremely distressing having some lovely pics of my kids on there! :'(

Please, please, PLEASE can someone offer some advise??????? Thank you muchly Char x

Im wondering if your battery died,did you find prior to this that it wasnt holding the charge long?

I have been having to charge every night for some time but it still lasts all day, was working find but literally just won't do anything and all of a sudden :'(

Thats the only thing i can think it might be,keep checking back here though as someone else may have answers.

Thanks, to top it off I just dropped it while fiddling and shattered the back case!! FML so annoyed right now as I'm a way out of warranty so have no idea what to do to try and get my pics :'(

Back glass is easy to replace, can get another one off ebay. Did you get problem resolved????

Hi thanx yep I've found them on eBay..not expensive either tho with the speakers not working there's prob no point anyway lol. & yes weirdly after almost 3 days it came back on as mysteriously as it went off & has been working fine since!?? 😁 thanks for your replies 😊 x
