Iphone 4 in China - Help with baseband

Hey all, i have an att iPhone 4 16gb with os 4.1(8B117) with baseband 02.10.04. long story short the apple store in China had to replace the internals of my phone about a month ago. i lost my unlock and everything. i have been reading that im basically screwed with the baseband that has been put on my phone.

Anyway to upgrade the base band in order to unlock my phone so i can use it?
does upgrading the os upgrade baseband?

its killing me using the lil nokia i have rite now. ANY HELP would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately your stuck for unlock right now. If you upgrade firmware you will upgrade baseband again which could make your wait even longer.

I think your thinking of upgrading to the iPad baseband. Unfortunately that only works for the 3G/S...

Just wait a while, shouldn't take ages anymore. According to MuscleNerd it could be after the release of the Verizon iPhone (iOS4.2.5) or iOS 4.3.
