iPhone 4 - how do I remove e-mail accounts?

I got a new iPhone 4 (Verizon) and when I synced it for the first time, it captured all of my e-mail accounts from Outlook. I tried to stop the sync, but I was not fast enough.
I have since de-selected the “sync e-mail accounts” under the “info” tab on iTunes, but the e-mail accounts are still there, and I keep getting error messages on the iPhone that it cannot get the e-mail.
It is a good thing it can’t get the e-mail - since I do not want those particular accounts on the phone any way.
The problem is… How do I remove the e-mail accounts from the iPhone?
Any ideas?

Go to Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Under accounts select the email service (example: Gmail, Yahoo, etc.), then choose the red Delete Account button
