Iphone 4 help!

Hey guys, My friend is letting me have his old verizon Iphone 4 but I currently have T-mobile. Is it possible for me to use a verizon iphone 4 wiht t-mobile

? Sorry if its a stupid question.

I think not. I think The 4 was either GSM (on AT&T frequencies) or CDMA (for Verizon). T-Mobile can tell you if it will work on their 3G network.

I contacted T-mobile and they said it would work as long as I unlock the phone. How would I unlock the Iphone 4?

EDIT: So I just called verizon and they said that the Iphone 4 is already unlocked so I could use my friends Iphone 4 on t mobile! Thanks for the help man!
