iPhone 4 call volume too low

On speaker it's fine but that isn't ideal. Brand new iPhone. The call volume sounds like someone is whispering like its at 10% volume. I have it on full any ideas?

Check to see if your screen saver is covering the earpiece.

My girlfriend had this issue, all it was was she hasn't removed the protective film from the screen which was blocking the earpiece. Try checking that
