Iphone 3Gs 5.1.1 to 4.3

i have att unlocked phone which i was using until today..i installed 5.1.1 now its locked and i want to downgrade to 4.3..with jailbreak or not.i just want to use this phone without any problem

If you updated to 5.1.1 you probably also updated your baseband. If you have your SHSH for 4.3 or another firmware that is compatible with an untethered jailbreak you can downgrade the firmware, but you cannot downgrade the baseband so you will have to install the iPad baseband now if you want to unlock.

Settings>General>About>Modem Firmware

Remember, you will need a 4.3 SHSH in order to restore that firmware.

Just use Tiny Umbrella. plug in phone, open Tiny Umbrella, and click the "Save SHSH" button. Whatever shows in the list is what you have SHSH for.

When building an iPSW with Sn0wbreeze you will have to select "iFaith Mode" and then select you SHSH.

Tiny Umbrella tells you where it stores the downloaded SHSH blobs in the "Advanced" tab.

Unfortunately since you don't have a 5.0.1 SHSH you can't restore that firmware. You can either restore to 4.3 or update to 5.1 or 5.1.1
