Iphone 3g

I need help with my iPhone 3g. It won't update past 4.2.1.
Can anybody help?

I'm pretty certain that 4.2.1 is the last update available for the 3G , after that they are no longer supporting the 3G. Only 3GS and iPhone 4 are supported, soon the 3GS will be dropped off also.

The iphone 3g wont receive any more firmware updates and 4.2.1 is the latest and last one we will ever see for the iphone 3g.
