iOS5 and Ubuntu?

Does anyone know anything about this? I have Ubuntu running on my laptop; iOS4.2.1 would play nicely with it, due to packages(in ubuntu) called libimobile and libgpod. But since updating I just get error: unable to mount iphone, unhandled lockdown. I guess I need to update something; it might not even be possible yet.
It doesn't really matter, I still have good old XP with iTunes on the same computer to sync iPod. I just like to have everything working.

Just use Windows for interfacing with your iPhone, Ubuntu has never played nice with iTunes or it's drivers.

Yeah I know that makes sense...it was more like an OCD thing where I Have to get it Working! I can get over it though. It used to work ok with ios4 but it obviously caused confusion in the same way that trying to sync with two seperate itunes on different computers would. Looks like I'll be keeping my Windows for now then.
