Apple provide very good documentation about iOS security for iOS 8.3 and later. This document is in the form of a .PDF file and can be viewed in Safari and opened in iBooks on an iOS device.

Please visit this web page for more information: https://www.apple.com/business/docs/iOS_Security_Guide.pdf

Haven't read the whole thing yet, but what I have read so far impresses me. I knew that iOS devices were very secure, but this white paper really shows the depth of iOS's security...

The title is only available as a PDF from Apple.com. There is no copy in the iBooks Store.
