iOS 4.1 Jailbreak Announced

Pocket Gamer reports this morning that a hacker group know as "The Dev Team" is claiming to have already found a security hole in iOS 4.1 since its release yesterday by Apple. According to Pocket Gamer, The Dev Team says that it will be coming out with its jailbreak very soon. One member of the team, MuscleNerd, announced the successful hack via his Twitter page, also claiming that unlike Jailbreakme.com, which was easily fixed, Apple won't be able to do much to stop the new hack without releasing new hardware. Apparently this is because the new vulnerability gets right into the operating system and messes around with files. Here's what MuscleNerd tweeted about the new jailbreak as reported by Pocket Gamer:

"That latest exploit [is] confirmed to work beyond iPhone 4. Also on iPad and yesterday's [fourth-generation iPod touch] too."

The Dev Team also repeats the general advice to stay on iOS 4.0 for now if you're interested in jailbreaking your iPhone or iPod touch.

they always manage to do this, i knew they would this time also, for all tose who are scared to upgrade to 4.1... and the next iphone will have a fix they will again manage to stop apple and always jailbreak,, cat mouse and apple always ALWAYS LOSE suckers hahaha
