Imessage cant send and receive

New here want to get to know some people say hello tell me what you are into i like dancing cars and girls and a few drinks with good friends not just in that order . Lets talk

I did friend request you. But i am still learning too. Want to learn together?

Sorry about adding to your thread but have a concern as a parent with iMessage. I can't monitering my children's texts or who they are texting with this feature. I know it can be turned off but it cannot be locked out. The other problem I have is it uses up their data on limited data plans. Why would you want to do that when text msg's are unlimited and data is not? I don't know if this point has been raise yet but it should be. As a father I love to provide my kids with cool things it makes them feel special. I have their pass words on things like facebook and keep track of its use but the iMessage is of great concern to me. Spoke to apple about it the rep agreed with me completely. He advised me to post to apple feedback. He also advised that if enough people raise the same issue it can and would be fixed. A little help from other reporting the same concern to apple would be helpful. Thanks to all that do.

Difference between SMS and iMessage is, SMS uses your text message allowance and not everyone has unlimited allowance. iMessage uses wifi or 3G so if people are concerned with it eating their data allowance then use it via wifi. Sending mms (pictures) costs money, 25p per photo in the UK. To send pictures or videos through iMessage is free via your wifi allowance. Personally I think iMessage is better than SMS. I have 3 teenagers who all text to their hearts content via my unlimited wifi allowance. If they go out of this area then they use there text allowance. Works great for me. And I'm sure a lot of people would agree.

Also you'll find unlimited texts are subject to fair usage so if you're like a normal teen doing 20 texts per minute this would go beyond fair usage. Because most is done via my unlimited wifi with no fair usage who cares, and everyone's happy.
