    Hi -

I bought an iPhone 5 before I left South Korea believing it was unlocked. Of course it is not. I found this out when I was in the UK and tried to use an O2 sim card (the phone held a signal for a minute, then dropped it). So I went to the Apple Store, where they told me I had to have the phone unlocked before a new sim would work. Immediately I went across the street to an unlock shop and they couldn't do it. Back I went to the Apple Store where they told me that now my warranty is void because I had it 'hacked' by a third party. WTF!! Anyway, now I'm in Australia and I want to use the phone. How on Earth can I get it to work?

    Thanks
