icons wont appear when i apply new theme

I was trying to change the theme on my phone today and every time I tried to respring the wallpaper and lockscreen changed but the icons remained stock looking? I tried smoot, iGlassSol remixed theme, ColorGlass and nothing worked. Now if I go back to inPulse or Andu then it works and everything is fine. Any Ideas? I've tried to reboot the phone, redownload the themes, and respring like 3 times nothing worked. Im jailbroken on ios 5.1

Are the themes compatible with iOS 5? Apple changed a lot of the icon names and moved them around with the system files of the phone. If the theme has not been updated for iOS 5, then those icons won't be themed.

Hmm I'll have to check that. I looked at those thems on YouTube but who knows what iOS the host is using.

Do you have a 3gs? Mine is and there seems to be a definate problem with renames files at most I've had four or five icons working when a whole batch of them don't. I'm trying to get a handle on things but it just doesn't seem to work.
