iCloud not syncing older contacts from iPhone 5

I'm having issues w/ iCloud updating older contacts. Everything after I setup iCloud is there but nothing that was transferred from my previous phone. There are about 450 older contacts that I don't feel like losing so any help would be appreciated.hone: ~Christian
