Apple’s fans are still disappointed after Apple did not introduce iPhone 5 at WWDC. Instead they were given iCloud, iOS 5 and Mac OS X Lion as a consolation prize.
Apple’s iCloud will let customers store content in the cloud via a wireless connection and then access the content from any iOS device. iCloud will include various other features such as iTunes, PhotoStream or Documents.

"Some people think the cloud is just a big disk in the sky... We think it's way more than that," Steve Jobs stated at WWDC 2011.
Users will able to access the music content they have purchased via iTunes from all their iOS gadgets for free. Apple has given up offering MobileMe and will offer Contacts, Calendar, Mail and other features previously available on MobileMe for the cloud.

Photo Stream will let users upload the photos in the cloud via Wi-Fi. They will then be able to access the photos using all the other iOS devices they own. Users can also save files or documents in the cloud as well and access them later.

"Documents in the Cloud really complete our iOS document storage story. A lot of us have been working for 10 years to get rid of the file system so the user doesn't have to learn about it," Jobs said.

All content stored in the cloud (music, apps, books, photos, files etc) will be backed up. iCloud and iOS 5 will become available this autumn.
