IPhone 6 with bluetooth hearing aids.
an icoming call (it was a recording) cut me off of the call I was on with no notice or choice on my part.

how can I quickly disconnect the blue tooth so I can hand the phone to my wife to continue a conversation. She does not use hearing aids and if I hand her the phone to taik, she cannot hear because the existing conversation is on Bluetooth.

If you swipe up from the bottom of the iPhone screen, you will be able to switch off the BlueTooth from the Control Centre, by simply tapping on the icon.
